Chris Silvestri

Chris Silvestri is a TV Writer, Producer, and Cartoonist, hailing from the Pacific Northwest—studying animation at The Art Institute of Portland, OR, before transferring to The Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA, he focused on experimental animation, screenwriting, and filmmaking. 

Upon graduation, Chris moved with his family to Los Angeles and began work on NBC’s Hannibal and later transitioned to Star Trek: Discovery—co-writing two episodes of the critically acclaimed series, and subsequently working on a second series, Short Treks, where he co-wrote an animated episode of the Emmy-nominated anthology, entitled: “Ephraim & Dot.”

Chris also served as Writer & Consulting Producer on the Netflix science show, Brainchild, Executive Produced by Pharrell Williams. 

Chris currently lives on the outskirts of Los Angeles with his family—and when he’s not reading comics and drawing cartoons with his daughter, he serves as Story Consultant & Advisor on several Film & TV Projects, one of which being an animated feature set for release in 2023.
